I started doing marketing and SEO for clients in 2018, the same year I opened Meals On Wheels, a cloud kitchen in Jorhat where I am both the chef and the person who has to find customers. That second job taught me the lesson I bring to every SEO project: traffic is only useful if it turns into calls, orders, and bookings.

Most of my recent work has been inside a US company's in-house team, looking after SEO, content, and technical health across a portfolio of more than 90 websites. I have written full page suites for 17+ brands, rolled out schema across 20+ city sites, audited sitemaps and indexing on 16 sites, set up call tracking for 17 brands, and helped defend the whole network during a coordinated spam link attack. Those results were a team effort, and I describe them that way.

Before that I spent years in reporting and operations roles, building KPI dashboards and management reports. It left me with a habit I have kept: I care about dependencies, timelines, and whether something actually ships, not only whether it looks good in a deck.

I also studied clinical psychology. It sounds unrelated until you spend a day on search intent. Knowing why someone types a query, and what they need to see before they trust a page, is most of the job.
