Case studies

Case studies, with the real numbers.

Every chart on this page comes from Google Search Console or Ahrefs. Most of the work below was done for a US voice-dating company that asked us not to name its sites, so those are anonymized. The numbers are not.

How to read this page. Results marked team-owned were delivered inside a client's in-house team: Varun led SEO strategy, content, and QA, and the client's developers shipped the builds. Monthly figures cover January to August 2026; September is left out because the month was not complete when the data was pulled. Estimates from Ahrefs are labeled as estimates.
01 / Portfolio SEO

Organic clicks up 121% across a 95+ site network

A New York based voice-dating company runs 22 core websites (brands and independent directories) plus 73 newer single-page brand sites. The brief: grow organic traffic across the whole portfolio and turn it into more callers.

What we did

  • Built GSC and Ahrefs keyword tracking across the five primary brands, plus a monthly GSC dashboard for 22 sites
  • Wrote full page suites for 17+ brands: homepages, audience pages, FAQ, safety and trust, and legal pages
  • Built complete content systems for five directory sites, each with category pages and 18 city pages
  • Rolled out FAQPage and Organization schema across 20+ city sites and ran sitemap and indexation audits on 16
  • Fixed AI crawler blocking on five domains and verified technical SEO across 19
  • Ran guest posts, niche edits, and newswire press releases, with every prospect vetted in Ahrefs
  • Set up call tracking numbers for 17 brands so SEO traffic could be tied to real calls
02 / Established brand

A national brand grew clicks 49% in six months

The company's flagship brand had years of history and a stable position around 11. Traffic was fine but flat. The job was to find the next layer of demand without breaking what already ranked.

Google Search Console performance chart for the flagship brand: 179K clicks and 2.8M impressions from February 2025 to June 2026, with daily clicks rising from about 300 to about 750
The original Search Console view, February 2025 to mid-June 2026: 179K clicks, 2.8M impressions, 6.4% CTR, average position 11.6 for the full range. Brand name removed.

What we did

  • Content for 15 state pages on one shared template, each with a city directory, local numbers, FAQ, and FAQPage schema
  • A listicle blog format that became the brand's top-performing post, then reused across the network
  • Behavior analysis in Microsoft Clarity to see where readers dropped off
  • Guest posts and press placements pointing to the brand's key pages
  • A merged, cleaned disavow file when spam links started appearing
The honest footnote. Click-through rate dipped from 7.1% to 6.3% over the same six months. That is normal when a site starts appearing for many more long-tail searches at lower positions, but it is a number we keep watching.
03 / New site launch

A new directory site: 7 clicks in April, 15,970 in August

What we did

  • Wrote the full content suite: homepage, five category pages, 18 city pages, FAQ, safety and trust, about, contact, and legal pages
  • Kept a strict third-party reviewer voice so the directory reads as independent and useful
  • Added FAQPage schema and internal links from every city page to the right category
  • Worked through a 120-day implementation plan shaped with a leading SEO consultancy
  • Launched a listicle blog targeting searches the homepage did not already own
  • Gave every listing its own tracking number so calls could be attributed

Growth this fast is not typical. Our read: a lot of well-structured content went live at once in a niche where many competing pages were thin. We tell every client that.

04 / Established brands

Two mature brands: +34% and +46% more clicks

05 / Brand launches

12 new brands, from zero to 1,000+ clicks a month

Twelve secondary brands went live in spring 2026, each aimed at a specific audience. Each needed a complete, trustworthy site from day one and a way to earn its first rankings.

What we did

  • Complete page sets per brand: home, for women, for men, free trial, how it works, FAQ, safety and trust, about, contact, privacy, and terms
  • Brand-specific audience angles so no two sites read the same
  • llms.txt files and answer-first copy for AI search tools
  • Robots, sitemap, and canonical checks on every domain after launch
What did not go to plan. One city brand in this group grew to 440 clicks in July, then lost most of its visibility when Google's August 2026 spam update rolled out. It is the first site we are watching in the recovery.
06 / Launch at scale

73 new brand sites launched, 73 passed technical QA

The company added 73 new single-page brand sites, most of them city brands across 30 US metros. The risk with launches at that scale is small technical mistakes repeated 73 times.

robots.txt files blocking AI crawlers at launch

What we did

  • Checked every domain from raw HTML, not a rendered preview, for canonical, robots, sitemap, and meta robots
  • Flagged the small stuff before it spread: broken favicon paths, duplicate titles between sibling sites, and a wrong title suffix
  • Planned how the new brands get listed on the directory sites, one directory per brand, so listings stay unique
Why a QA pass matters. A fetch tool reported four "missing canonical" tags that were actually present. Checking view-source caught it. On a 73-site launch, trusting the wrong tool means 73 wrong fixes.
07 / Defense

Containing a negative SEO attack across 87+ sites

In August 2026 the network was hit by a coordinated spam backlink campaign: link-farm and escort-spam domains pointed at 14+ core sites and all 73 new brand sites, with new domains attaching every day.

re-pulls while the attack stayed live

What we did

  • Confirmed the attack site by site in Ahrefs before touching anything
  • Identified two repeat signatures: a numbered spam .xyz cluster and a fake SEO-services network
  • Built site-specific disavow files, then re-pulled weekly because new spam kept arriving
  • Kept a running master list of toxic domains for sites that shared the same blast
Lesson. A shared master list was fast but only half-covered some sites. Dedicated pulls per site took longer and caught the rest. Speed first, then precision.

mdtoursandtravels.in.net homepage, captured September 2026.

What we did

  • Named the business MahaDev Tours and Travels, with MD Cabs as the taxi arm
  • Wrote and designed a fast static site around local searches: airport pickups, Kaziranga trips, Majuli ferry trips, and outstation cabs
  • One-tap call and WhatsApp buttons, a fleet section built from the owner's own car photos, and a local FAQ
  • Locked the name, address, and phone number so the website and Google Business Profile match exactly
  • Planned the move to the new domain, with forwarding from the old one set up by a partner developer, and kept hosting free
Status. The site is new, so there is no meaningful ranking data yet. We will add it here once there is.

What slipped. Two directory sites (D3 and D5) gained early, then lost ground over the summer. Work to win that back is under way. Sites with tiny numbers can swing hard in percentage terms, so read the raw clicks too.
What held flat. The Black singles brand (P4) stayed around 1,300 clicks a month. It already ranked well for its main searches; its next step is a revamp of its key pages rather than more of the same.
